暑假生活英语作文
This summer, I participated in the Eton Summer Course ,together with other 60 teenagers from different part of China. The experience was carved into my memory, and I missed all the things there.
During the time I stayed in Eton, we usually had course in the morning and took part in various activities in the afternoon. UK Eton boys were invited to act as hosts and teaching assistants to look after us. Also we are divided into differentclasses according our abilities so that we can learn and get improved as much as we can.The house we lived in is what the Eton boys used to live and it is known that Eton has the best quality teaching equipment so the boarding house was much better than I what I had imagined.Besides experiencing the ordinary school life of English students ,the course was fitted in all kinds of trip in which we can visit the historical sights in the United Kingdom and absorb English culture. We went to London , Oxford ,Cambridge and so on . We got a good view of the London city from London Eye , enjoyed ourselves in the island owned by Eton in the sun , played frisbee outside Windsor Castle
The photo showed the boat trip we took in Windsor. The sun was silhouetted against the river, smothering the waves with silver reflections. We could see couples riding bikes or taking walks in the field on both sides of the river Thames . The man behind me was roasting some beef and chicken ,preparing our dinner . On the way back to Eton, everyone on the boat rose from their seat and danced to the music ,following the assistants . When a trouble-maker played the popular song the coolest ethnic trend ,every Chinese on the boat went crazy , abandoning themselves in singing and dancing. People on the river bank couldn’t understand what we were dong , which was really funny!
After I came in China ,I kept in touch with my classmates in Eton . We all missed each other so much and always relived the scene in which we stayed with each other.
