A true friend in those days

1. The girl that we loved those days, which is the film deeply inspired my heart, convinced me that, girls are the beauties which the God present to human kinds. There are two girls around us, and one of them becomes your girl friend and another one becomes your true friend. Here I just want to share a pretty memory about true friend with you.

2. Guangdong, as one of the most prosperous places in China, makes it a big burden for parents to raise kids. My parent work so hard to support the family that they had no enough time to take care of me. So I and my elder brother lived in the countryside with our grandparents.

3. Without my parents’control, my life is too free to be good. At home, I was the youngest kid, so I could enjoy all the privilege—I always play game outside and did least housework. Bed to me was honey to primary School, the hateful thief, stole my sweet sleeping

time every morning. Dragging me out of the bed was a big task for my grandmamma. When I was not willing to go to school, my grandmamma bought me snacks and toys. In my mind, if I didn’t go to school, I could gain lots of gifts. So why should I go to stupid school and sit in the gloomy classroom? Yes, I was a spoiled child. At school, I was the kind of student who seldom handed in homework and passed examinations. I drew pictures on my books in class, went to the playground during the break and watched TV after school. Because of my poor behavior, being beaten by my teachers was often the case with me. I was the so-called bad student. In the primary school, all the good students were welcomed but bad students were separated. I myself had no friend ironically. No good students would include me into their group.

At Grade Five, I thought I would continue my life like this and end my study time several years later, and then I met a girl, that kind of student who was what a good student could be in your mind—she studied hard and maintained high marks; her handwriting was careful and neat; she had lots of friends; all teachers loved her very much…But most importantly, she is a beautiful and lovely girl, and sat around

me and considered me one of her friends! She treated me with no difference, just like those good-students friends of hers.

5. She didn’t tell me what to do, but she showed me unconsciously. In class, each time I held my head up I could see how concentrated she was. During the break, she went out with me and met her good-student friends. I started to know that they were very kind and I was longing to take part in their group. Playing with them, I started to gain confidence. Some different kind of feelings arises in my heart gradually. I encouraged myself, “What’s the difference among us when we are playing together? I am as intelligent as them. Why can’t I catch up and get a good mark?” After school, we did our homework together. Whenever I came across a puzzle, she gave me a hand and helped me solve it. On the other hand, after learning hard, I realized how weak my basic knowledge was. I turned to the former books without delay. Strange as it may be, I found all the problems which had used to kill me began a piece of cake. How lucky I was to know her when it was still not too late for me to catch up!

6. Studying with her, I focused on what the teachers said but not what

teachers wore. Playing with her, I got to make friends with many good students and modeled them. At the end of Grade Five, I gained my first award paper and prize. I won the 4th prize in the 100-student grade! I could see how bright my future would be!

7.Since studying was an enjoyable thing for me, I said goodbye to my dear bed at 6:45 every morning and went to school with ecstasy. At that time, I didn’t know what is love and I just extremely want to be around her and study with her. Gradually, the knowledge I learned let me realize that how my unreasonable behavior troubled me. I controlled my appetite for snacks and ate healthy food; I went to bed early and got up early without my grand mama’s natter; I helped my sister do housework. In their eyes, I grew up suddenly overnight!

8.Now, whenever I want to convince people how disobedient I was in my childhood, no one seems to believe me. One thousand thanks for her. It was her who started to respect me and cherish me; it was her who started to let me know how enjoyable books could be; it was her who started to let me play with good students and learn from them; it was her who started to evoke my enthusiasm on study; it was her who started to let myself know that I was not an idiot; it was her who started to change my fate.

9.The girl, my true friend, though you are not around, you are always in my heart.
