TOEIC考试

托业即TOEIC（Test of English for International Communication），中文译为国际交流英语考试，是针对在国际工作环境中使用英语交流的人们而指定的英语能力测评，由美国教育考试服务中心设计。

概述

每年在90多个国家有超过500多万人次参加TOEIC考试，10000多家国际化的公司或机构承认并使用TOEIC考试成绩。因为TOEIC考试能对人们使用英语进行交流的能力做出公正客观的测量，所以它成为当今世界上顶级的职业英语能力测评。

英语是国际商务和贸易语言。国际上众多商业机构和组织已越来越深刻地意识到英语能力在国际竞争中的至关重要的作用。他们需要不断地评估现有员工和求职者的英语水平。为了迎合这种需要，美国教育考试服务处（ETS）设计了“国际交流英语考试（Test of English for International Communication -- TOEIC）”，简称“托业考试”。

国际交流英语考试（TOEIC）用于测试母语非英语人员在国际性环境中的日常英语能力，旨在衡量应试者在国际商业、贸易环境中使用英语的熟练程度。因此TOEIC考试有别于那些侧重于学术环境中英语使用能力的考试。

由于TOEIC考试运用于商业环境, 亦被工商界使用，在国际上历经二十余年的品牌锤炼后已被视为国际标准，因此又有“商业托福”之称。全球已有60多个国家的超过9000家国际企业使用了“托业”标准，近年就有超过500万人次应试。

应用

雇佣：提升或调配员工－根据完成特定职责所需的英语水平，企业可以使TOEIC 考试，建立分数标准或基准。然后用作制定人事决定的依据。

技术培训：TOEIC考试成绩用来决定一个人是否具备足够的英语能力来参加用英语授课的培训并从中学到东西。

海外任职：TOEIC考试成绩可以用来说明一个员工如果被派到英语国家工作，是否能成功地工作和交流。

语言培训：TOEIC考试成绩可以用来确定员工中谁需要进一步的英语培训，帮助设定学习目标并跟踪学习进展。

公正性和准确性

我们尽一切努力保证考试内容对全世界的考生没有偏见并且与文化背景无关。TOEIC考试开发队伍在下列方面非常注意：

避免考试语言成为特殊的美式英语（例如词汇，语法结构，方言等）；

避免上下文特指某一种文化，或者让其他国家的考生觉得不相关；

保证使用不同民族的姓名；

避免使用只有某一个民族或国家的人熟悉的场所、人或事件。

避免太专业化的情景。

保证充分地体现不同的文化和两种性别。

TOEIC考试提供非常可信的英语能力证明，广泛的研究表明TOEIC考试成绩与其他许多英语能力测试的成绩有强烈的关联。这表明TOEIC考试是英语语言能力的有效测量。

尽管TOEIC考试是高度可信的，但是没有一种考试能永恒完美地衡量成绩。一个人在短时间内参加几次不同版本或考试卷的考试，会得到一些围绕着一个平均值的成绩，这个平均值是真实的成绩。无论听力还是阅读理解，三分之二的成绩与真实成绩的差距在25分之内。

成绩计算方法

考生用铅笔在计算机答案卷上作答。考试分数由答对题数决定，再将每一大类（听力类、阅读类）答对题数转换成分数，范围在5到495分之间。

两大类加起来即为总分，范围在10到990分之间。答错不倒扣。报名考托业考试的时候，会拿到一本「托业手册」，里面会有托业考试分数的解释以及此分数在不同国际环境中的作用。

TOEIC是用以评价一个人专业工作上所需的英语能力的考试，是一个参考值，而非为某种课程特别设计，因此，其考分没有及格与不及格之分。

TOEIC的考分从10分到999分，考生究竟要达到哪个标准才算合适，完全由公司或企业方按照职位要求来定。例如，一家跨国公司要招收一名清洁工，那么应聘者的TOEIC成绩可能只要求达到20分，因为他们的工作不需要很高的英语交流能力。而如果该公司招收的是市场部经理，那么可能要求应聘者有高达900分的TOEIC成绩。

下面一组分数大致说明TOEIC考试分数及其相关水平：805--990优秀；655--804高级；555--654中高级；405--554高级起步者；305--404中级起步者；205--304初级起步者；10--204低级起步者。

TOEIC考试的格式和时间安排

TOEIC考试是计算机形式考试,考试时间为2个小时,共200道题，分成听力和阅读两大部分。

听力理解部分：

共100道题, 约45分钟，分为4类问题，由盒式录音带给出。你将听到各种由英语录制的陈述，问题，简短对话和短文，然后你根据听到的内容回答问题。第一类问题：图片十道题（四选一)

第二类问题：问题与回答三十道题（三选一）

第三类问题：简短对话三十道题（四选一）

第四类问题：简短文章三十道题（四选一）

阅读部分：

共100道题，约75分钟, 包括3类问题。你将看到各种资料, 然后根据给出的资料按照自己的速度回答问题。

第五类问题：短语填空四十道题（四选一)

第六类问题：长句填空十二道题（四选一）

第七类问题：阅读理解四十八道题（四选一）

TOEIC考试的问与答

问：多少分可以通过，有没有及格的划分？

答：TOEIC“托业”考试是一种常模参照考试，不同的考试分数代表应试者在日常工作中使用英语进行交流的能力的差异，因此考试成绩没有及格与不及格之分。听力和阅读部分分开记分，有利于考生具体分析自身语言能力并制定有针对性的学习规划，同时利于TOEIC的机构用户明确员工的能力差异。每部分成绩范围为5至495，总成绩范围为10至990。

很多公司根据特定职能所需要的英语水平，使用TOEIC“托业”考试建立自己的分数标准。你的公司可能需要员工达到某个最低TOEIC分数，因为工作需要与之相对应的英语水平。很多公司提供英语培训来帮助他们的员工达到职位所需的反映能力水平的TOEIC“托业”考试目标分数。

不同的公司会根据某职位的不同设定一个分数，如果您应聘该职位，那么通过该公司制定的分数便是通过了该公司分数标准。

问：成绩的有效期？

答：TOEIC“托业”考试成绩的有效期与考生英语能力的水平保持同样长的时间，但是，能力是可以随着时间而改善或退步的。由于这个原因，越是近期的成绩，越能有效代表考生的能力。

托业官网表示，托业考试的成绩的有效期为两年。

问：TOEIC“托业”考试的考试费用是多少，怎样报名？

答：按照ETS通知，TOEIC“托业”考试在中国市场公开考试的标准价格为US(美元)，考试费以人民币形式收取，按照美元对人民币的汇率8.11计算，考试费为

人民币608元。不过托业每年会提供一定的万助学名额，如果能申请，则能省下一笔报考费用。具体数字每年会有些许不同。有考托业的可以关注，提早申请。可以通过网上报名，也可以在当地授权咨询站报名，当地咨询站的所有列表以及联系电话可以在通过网上进行查询。

报名程序为：先缴费，然后填写表格报名，通过邮局或者银行进行汇款；考试费用的发票将会在考试当天带到考场发送到考生手里。具体付款方式请见托业网站见扩展阅读。

问：TOEIC“托业”考试能否为考生提供培训业务？费用标准是怎样的？

答：目前，思而文国际公司托业考试办公室没有设立托业考试授权培训站，但是在全国设有托业考试授权咨询站，因此考生可以与当地的托业考试咨询站联系，部分托业考试咨询站已经开有托业考试的培训课程，考生可以进行比较选择培训地点。

虽然跟以英语为母语的人比还有些差距，但对单词、语法、句子结构都能够正确地掌握，具有流畅运用英语的能力。

B(730分-855分) 具备在状况下进行恰当交流的能力。

能够完全理解一般的会话，并且能够迅速应答。即使话题其他特定专业领域，也能应付。在业务上没有大的障碍。

在正确和流畅程度上可能会因人而异，有时也会有在语法和句子结构上的错误，但并不影响意思上的交流。

C(470分-725分) 具备日常生活所需的英语能力，能够进行限定范围内的业务交流能力。

在一般会话中，对于要点的理解和应答都没有障碍。但是在复杂的情况下，要想达到正确的应答及交流就会有巧拙的差距。

已经掌握了基本的语法和句子结构，虽然在表现能力上有些不足，但已掌握了表达自己意思的词汇。

D(220分-465分) 能够进行一般会话中的最低限度的交流。

只要对方说话语速慢一些、重复几遍或者有时能替换不同说法，就能够理解简单的会话。对于身边熟悉的话题，可以做出应答。

虽然在单词、语法、句子结构上有很多不足的地方，但如果对方能考虑到交谈对象是外国人的话，也可
