The first two pages are written in Chinese, while the rest of it are typed in English.You can imagine how important it means to me and my company and how worried I am now.

Dear Nick,
How is your life there in Oxford? I guess it must be exciting and fun as shown in your online photo album. As you know I have been yearning to study in the UK, and this dream finally came true when the offer of Cambridge arrived yesterday. So I am writing to ask for some information about pre-departure preparation.
My first semester commence next February, hence I still have around four months to go. I am wondering whether I should acquire my driver’s licence now because I hear about the normally long distance between the school and the accommodation. If so, should I translate and certify it in China or in the UK? Besides, I am hoping you would give me some advice on how
many and what type of clothes and quilts I should bring as I am not familiar with the weather. Lastly, are there any electrical appliances to be taken along with me from China to reduce the settling-in cost?
To be honest, I am quite nervous about relocating to a foreign country. Last year when knowing that you fell sick badly after you got to the UK, I was worrying living by myself in a remote country must be tough. Is the medical support effective? Is it easy to find friends to take care of each other when running into/coming across problems?
