一、考试性质

初中学业水平考试英语科目考试(以下简称“学业水平考试”)是义务教育阶段的终结性考试。目的是全面、准确地反映初中毕业生达到《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版)》(以下简称《课程标准》)五级课程目标水平的程度。考试结果既是衡量学生是否达到毕业标准的主要依据,也是高中阶段学校招生的重要依据之一。

二、指导思想

贯彻《课程标准》的新理念,反映《课程标准》的目标要求,遵循如下命题原则:

1.要着重考查学生听、说、读、写等四种英语语言技能的综合实践能力以及灵活运用语言知识的能力。

2.要依据《课程标准》来确定考查内容与标准。

3.要充分考虑学生的实际生活和身心发展水平。

4.要选用真实、地道的语言素材,根据语言实际使用情况命题。

5.要确保试题的信度和效度,杜绝繁、偏、旧的试题。

6.要根据试题的考查目的和考查重点,科学合理地制订评分标准。

三、考试依据

依据《课程标准》的五级课程目标的等级要求、教育部教基[2002]26号文《教育部关于积极推进中小学评价与考试制度改革的通知》和广东省考试中心粤[2003]85号文《关于高中阶段学校招生考试英语口语工作有关问题的通知》的精神,以及我省各地初中英语新课程教学实际情况。

四、考试内容与要求

“学业水平考试”的内容是《课程标准》制定的三级至五级目标内容,即初中学生在全日制义务教育七年级至九年级阶段应该完成的学习内容和达到的学习目标,包括语言技能(听、说、读、写)、语言知识(语音、词汇、语法、功能、话题)、文化意识(文化知识、文化理解、跨文化交际意识和能力)、情感态度(动机兴趣、自信意志、合作精神、祖国意识、国际视野)、学习策略(认知策略、调控策略、交际策略、资源策略)等目标要求。考核的具体内容如下:

语言技能听

能够根据语调和重音理解说话人的意图。

能够听懂熟悉话题的谈话,并能从中提取信息和观点。

能够借助语境克服生词障碍、理解大意。

能听懂接近自然语速的故事和叙述,理解故事的因果关系。

能够在听的过程中用适当方式做出反应。

能够针对所听语段的内容记录简单信息。

能够在口语活动中做到语音、语调自然,语气恰当。

能就简单的话题提供信息,表达简单的观点和意见,参与讨论。

能够在口语表达中进行适当的自我修正。

能有效地询问信息和请求帮助。

能够根据话题进行情景对话。

能用英语表演短剧。

能够根据上下文和构词法推断、理解生词的含义。

能够理解段落中各句子之间的逻辑关系。

能够找出文章中的主题,理解故事的情节,预测故事情节的发展和可能的结局。

能够读懂相应水平的常见体裁的读物。

能够根据不同的阅读目的运用简单的阅读策略获取信息。

能够根据写作要求准备素材,起草短文、短信等。

能够根据要求写出完整的句子,做到书写正确,语法基本无误。

能使用常见的连接词表示顺序和逻辑关系。

能简单描述人物或事件。

能够按照所给图示或表格写出简单的段落或操作说明。

语言语

能够比较熟练地运用已学英语语音知识,拼读单词、朗读篇章、传递信息。(详见语音项目表)

能够理解词语的基本含义和在特定语境中的意义,运用1600个左右的单词和200~300个习惯用语或固定搭配描述事物、行为和特征,说明概念。(详见词汇表)

知识

能够比较熟练地运用正确的语言结构来获取、处理和传递信息。

语言结构包括描述人和物的方式;具体事件和具体行为的发生、发展过程的表达方式;时间、地点、方位的表达方式和比较人、物体及事物的表达方式。(详见语法项目表)

能够理解和运用所学交际功能用语在实际交际中有效地进行表达。(详见功能意念项目表)

能够熟悉与学生个人、家庭和学校生活紧密相关的话题,包括个人情况、家庭、朋友与周围的人、居住环境、日常活动、学校生活、兴趣爱好、个人情感、人际关系、计划与愿望、节假日活动、购物、饮食、健康、天气、文娱与体育、旅游交通、语言学习等。(详见话题项目表)文

能够正确理解语篇中的西方文化内涵,以及与中国相关文化的差异,包括一般称谓、常见习俗、地理位置、主要城市、气候特点、相关历史、传统的文娱体育活动和节假日,以及主要的庆祝方式。

在考试过程中能够注意并理解听力材料中的说话人或所阅读文章的作者的情感。在口头、笔头表达中表现出对祖国文化有深刻的了解,并具有初步的国际理解意识。

能够在交际中注意到中外交际习俗的差异并能够把注意力集中在意思的表达上。在考试过程中善于抓住要点,善于利用图画等非语言信息理解主题。能够借助联想、比较、猜测等方法理解词语。

五、考试方式和试卷结构

(一)考试方式

“学业水平考试”由地级以上市教育行政部门统一组织。

考试方式包括笔试、听力和口试。笔试采用闭卷方式,听力内容至少应占总分的25%;口试内容应占总分的10%。口试的时间、方式和实施办法参照《广东省高中阶段学校招生考试口语考试指南(修订版)》。口试可以独立进行,也可以使用计算机辅助听说合考方式,采用模仿朗读、听选信息、回答问题、听记要点、听后转述信息和询问信息等题型。有关考试方式由地级以上市教育行政部门统一确定。

(二)试卷结构

1.自行组织命题的市的试卷结构由地级以上市统一确定。

2.广东省教育考试院命制的笔试(含听力)试卷:

(1)笔试考试时间为100分钟,满分为120分。

(三)试卷制作

笔试试卷分为试题和答题卡,分开印刷,试题不留答题位置。答案必须填涂或写在答题卡上。答题方式由各地级市统一确定并公布。
