Unit 3《Animals》教案

——第三课时

教学目标

1.使学生能够理解短文内容,并能根据短文完成相应的任务。

2.能够更全面的描述动物:home, food, appearance, skill等方面对动物进行英文描述。教学重点

使学生能正确用英文从home, food, appearance, skill等方面更全面的描述动物。

教学难点

短文的理解,对动物的综合性描述。

教学方法

任务型教学法、小组合作学习法

课前准备

1.教学录音磁带。

2.动物图片。

3.教学课件。

教学过程

Step1 Warming-up

1.播放第二课时的歌曲:《Ali Ba-ba, he has a little farm》,进行本课课堂。

2.课件展示动物图片,复习上课的句型:What’s your favourite animal? My favourite animal is the ... Can it fly? What colour is it?等。

Step2 Presentation

1.师:Today we’ll learn more about some animals. Turn to Page30. First, look at the pictures below. What animals do you see? What do you know about them?

2.Listen to the tape,the students follow it.

3.屏幕分段展示句子,教师讲解内容:

第一段:Different children love different animals.不同的孩子喜欢不同的动物。

第二段:A tiger lives in the forest.老虎住在森林里。教师领读forest.

An elephant eats leaves and grass.大象吃树叶和草。

It lives on the grassland or in the forest.它住在草原上或森林里。

5.同桌两人为一组,相互读句子,掌握生词的读音。

Step3 Practice

1.根据短文内容,完成课本30页动物卡片的填写任务。教师使用“学乐师生”APP 拍照,把答案分享给同学们。

2.根据所填写的动物卡片内容,四人为一组,每人描述一种自己动物,可以就词语:home, food, appearance, skill等方面进行描述。教师使用“学乐师生”APP录音,把小组活动分享给同学们。

3.根据短文内容,把对Joe的描述写在7页的横线上。教师使用“学乐师生”APP拍照,把答案分享给同学们。

4.根据刚才小组活动对动物的描述,把这些描述性的句子写在第31页的横线上。教师使用“学乐师生”APP拍照,把卡片和小短文分享给同学们。

Step4 Presentation

1.师:下面我们要听一个故事了,听故事前老师要提问你们两个问题:

故事中一共出现了几种动物? 最后小狗选谁做朋友了呢? 你从中受到什么启发?

2.播放故事录音,学生跟读。

Step5 Practice

1.回答老师的问题。

2.根据故事填写后面的表格。全班同学一起订正答案。

3.Retell the story. 教师使用“学乐师生”APP录音,分享给同学们。
