教学目标【知识目标】

Important words:degree;manager

Important phrases:get a business degree;become a manager;believe in Important sentences:

1.—What do you hope to do in the future?

—I hope to get a business degree and become a manager.

2.To celebrate the end of junior high,they are having a party.

3.They ask Mrs.Chen to come,and she is happy to accept the invitation.

1.引导学生自我反思,复习回顾过去所使用的相关表达。

2.给学生足够的机会,使用目标语言完成听力任务,在听力训练过程中注重听力技巧的训练。

【情感目标】

1.引导学生反思他们的初中生活,分享自己的成长经历。

2.鼓励学生思考将来的人生规划。

3.引导学生树立自信心,展望未来。

教学重难点重点:回顾初中学习和生活过程中的经历。掌握描述过去和展望未来的表达方式,并能理解听力中的相关表达。

难点:运用这些表达进行口语输出性练习。

Step 1自主学习

【新词自查】

根据句意及汉语提示填写单词。

1.Although the man is over 70,he continued to go to college and got a __degree__(学位).

4.We all like Mr.Wang because his class is always __lively__(生动的).

Step 2情景导入

【参考案例】

用多媒体播放展示各种职业工作环境的视频或图片。然后询问学生,马上要初中毕业了,你们对未来有什么规划?你理想的工作是什么?

Students: I hope to________.

①go into a good university

②travel around the world

③be famous…

设计意图:通过图片或视频的介绍,引起学生学习的兴趣,而且还可以很自然地导入本节课的内容。

Step 3完成教材1a-1e的任务

【操作案例】

1.要求学生翻开课本P109,迅速阅读1a部分的内容,写出将来打算做什么。

2.要求学生根据1b部分所给的对话提示与同伴讨论将来打算做什么。

3.听第一遍录音,根据听力内容把听到的“希望”在课本上1c所给的图片中勾选出来。

4.听第二遍录音,根据所听内容完成1d所给的短文。然后请一位同学朗读短文,并核对答案。

5.听第三遍录音,并打开听力材料,全班逐句进行跟读。

6.参照1e提供的问题,准备一个毕业演讲。先在小组演讲,评出最优秀的后进行全班演讲。

设计意图:将听、说、读、写的任务结合起来,不仅锻炼了学生的语言综合运用能力,还巩固了学生对目标语言的学习、识记和运用。

【知识点拨】

▲Bob hopes to pass the exam to get into senior high school.鲍勃希望通过考试进入高中。

hope在这里是指“希望;愿望”,hope to do sth.意为“希望做某事”,而此句后还有一个动词不定式to get into senior high school是作为一个目的状语。

▲They ask Mrs.Chen to come,and she is happy to accept the invitation.他们请求陈老师来,陈老师乐意接受邀请。

ask表示“叫;让”,ask sb.to do sth.指“让某人做某事”,be happy to do sth.意为“乐意做某事”。
