6.My views on the expansion of college enrollment

In the past several years, universities in China have been greatly expanding their enrollment. More and more students, most of whom have long dreamed of entering college, have now been accepted as college students.

This policy has a profound influence on the education situation of China ,a population of more well-educated people is very important to the country’s quickly developed economy. The economic development is becoming more and more dependent on the development of science and technology these days ,by expanding the enrollment, the country will have a greater number of people with advanced education, which will probably promote its economic growth.

It also have an effect on the society ,a recent report suggests that the rate of students with college education is 26 percent now ,it has been greatly improved in recent 20 years .And higher rate of college students means that more people get well education , so that some social problems will be solved in a more rational way .

But every coin has two sides ,there are some disadvantages .The most severe one is that our country’s employment situation get worse . China has a population of about 1.3 billion ,to solve the employment issue in China is a pressing task . with the expansion of college enrollment ,the college graduates are no longer as competitive as

before .It’s tougher for them to find suitable jobs .But it’s an temporary phenomenon ,with the development of our market economy ,this problem can be solved properly.

After a systematic consideration ,I think the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages .
