Do you think traditional letters are a good way

to send message?

1 I don’t think traditional letters are a good way to send letters because they are very slow.It can take days or weeks depending on the distance for a letter to reach its destination.

2Because of technology we have textsmessage that send messages instantly.

There are also emails, phone calls and applications that we can use and they are relatively fast.

3 Nowadays I think it’s still a good way to send messages using traditional letter. It’s an outdated way of sending messages.

4Yes.I’m feeling a bit of a romantic and I think sending handwritten letters are quite ro-mantic.

5It can be a memento that could be kept to remind you of someone you love or used to love.

6 Although it’s not as convenient or as fast as sending texts and it’s something i think eve-ryone should try at least once in their life.

7 If the message is important,then I wouldn’t recommend it.Unfortunately,there is a lot

of drawbacks to a traditional letter.

8Having said that,if you are sending a romantic message,then I would recom-

mend it.As a traditional hand written letter is much more personal than an email.

Describe an experience when you were a member of a team?

1 The best days of my life I'd say. In 11th grade I was a member of the Senior Girls

Hockey Team.

2 I played as a goal keeper and sometimes in the defense line. We travelled to Namibia

for a hockey tournament with the school bus. We had a tyre puncture so we arrived

just before our first match.

3 Everyone was fatigued and tired but we encouraged each other by singing war cries dur-ing the warm up session.

4We won 3 of the games and drew 1 and won the tournament. After the tournament every-one went straight to bed with a smile on their faces.

5I’d like to talk about the experience when I became a team member.

6our shooting place was in their house. But an emergency happened and she needed to bring her grandmother to the hospital.

How can a person become a good member of a team in the workplace?

1i think first you need to make sure you're taking care of your own duties; nothing is more annoying than picking up the slack of (per-son that's not putting in any effort.)

2 Once you're able to manage that then providing support for the other members would not just improve your status in the eye of the group but also boost the efficiency of the team.

3 Last but not least be committed, put in extra time to get a work done, share your ideas and listen to the ideas of the other members. If someone is genuinely committed, they'll always want to go above and beyond for the group.

4 good members of a team is reliable and responsible.

5 A good team member allows other people to help them. By open-ing to your colleagues, you can be more approachable and benefit from their knowledge.

6 A good team member listens well to other members opinions and ideas.

What kind of advice should parents give to their children?

1 When it comes to(当谈到…)advice, parents should always be weary of their children's needs.

2 A simple "treat people well" is great for a child just beginning to have interactions with their peers.

3 As the child blossoms in to a teenager, a parent should encourage them to seek out who they are;

4 Finally when your child reaches the precipice of adulthood, I think it is important for parents to pass on some sound financial planning advice.

5 Well, it should be "Never settle for anything less than what you want."

6 If something matters to you enough, you'll put in the work to have it, no matter what.

7 Goals are meant to keep you on track, but sometimes we realize certain goals are hard to accomplish. However, that shouldn't stop you from getting what you want.

Why do some people refuse to say "sorry" to others?

1 Some people refuse to say sorry because they fear of be-ing weak.

2 It takes much courage to accomplish as admitting wrongdo-ing or apologizing, western societies spend a lot of time attaching Weakness to the act.

3 The first is that they simply don't feel they were at fault for the incident. This may be true, it may not, the only way to correct it is to confront the situation with the facts. Another reason is probably they are not yet ready to face the consequences of them

6On the one hand, maybe it's because they are waiting for the perfect timing to apologize.

7 Furthermore, maybe because they fear rejection. To be re-jected is very painful so I guess that's the reason why some people refuse to say sorry to others.

Why do people make calls instead of messaging when there's some-thing important?

1 People make calls instead of messaging because sometimes people aren't always look-ing at their phone because it can take hours for someone to eventually read the message.

2 Messages are also very limiting and you can leave out some important information as compared to(比较)a phone call. Messages also don't convey(传达)the persons emotion or tone(语调)which would make the receiver understand the message differ-ently.

3It's because they want to personally relay the important message to the person they are calling. In this way, they will be able to hear the response of that person.

4 Another reason why people make calls instead of messaging because they want to save time. Constructing a message takes time compared to making a call.

5 Lastly, making calls is more convenient and effective in terms of important transactions, important news and emergency situations.

6 Important events or news tend to have a serious psychological effect on both speakers and listeners in different ways since acting normally might not work under stress.

7 Conveying the information requires stressing specific words and changes when it comes to our pitch. It ensures that the most important part has been highlighted and empha-sized.

1. Do you like advertisements on TV? Oh no, TV is a purgatory. The TV advertisements today appear to be not only boring but also disturbing. They interrupt in the midst of our enjoyment of a game or a film. Most of the advertisement materials are irritating and of course of low taste. The presentation is mostly awkward and obscene. 2. What kind of advertisement do you like the most? Word of mouth is hands down the BEST advertising. It's one of the most credible forms of advertising because every time people make a recommendation, they have nothing to gain but the appreciation of those who are listening. 3. Why do you think there are so many advertisements now? Whether you do like them or not, whenever and wherever it's possible that you can meet them. For biz sellers, ad could be very helpful to promote their products. For acceptors, ads might show some latest information. To buy or not to buy, to be fond of or not, all depend on your decisions.

雅思口语:Take a walk走开!

大家可能都知道to take a walk 就是散步。 刚好相反,这里的 to take a walk 是非常不客气的一句话。 所以,to take a walk 作为俗语的时候要特别小心。 1: I don't want to listen to any more silly advice on how to run my life. Go on, take a walk - get out of here! I'm tired of looking at your stupid face! 2: I'm tired of all your lies! You've cheated me too many times and I no longer want to be partners with you. So take a walk - I never want to see you again!
