Massive numbers of graduates are unemployed in the midst of the financial turmoil. In terms of this, amount of people begin to consider that universities ought to be a place where applied knowledge can be provided as a pressing priority.

Both parents and graduates are pursuing the rate of return due to the increasing tuition they invested. But the fact disappointed us a lot is that a fresh graduate cannot be employed due to their lack of applied knowledge which is the essential element of the productivity in the industrial and technological world. Realistically, certain quantity of applied knowledge is indispensable for college students who dreams of getting an ideal work. In some point of views, only applied knowledge can we facilitate the progress of the hunting a job.

But in the other hand, merely provide applied skills to students have defeated the very purpose of university education. The initial premier purpose of university is conveying the theoretical knowledge to students while vocational colleges absolutely aim to offer empirical courses. To put it simply, it is the property of university determines the circumstance under debate. What is more, theoretical knowledge is the driving force of the creativity which is of great significance in the scientific research aspect. As we know, theoretical knowledge is the origin of the innovation which is advantageous for human civilization.

Consequently, despite it is the commitment of universities to equip student with knowledge, providing student a variety of elective courses of working skills is necessary now. Only in this way can colleges foster most of the students’ innovation capability and make them have a perfect performance at work, which is a wholesome method to solve the issue under arguing.
