A thief who dropped a winning lottery ticket(彩票)at the scene of his crime has been given a lesson in honesty. His victim, who picked up the ticket, then claimed the ￡25000 prize, managed to trace him, and handed over the cash. Without proper planning, tourism can cause problems. For example, too many tourists can crowd public places that are also enjoyed by the residents of a country. If tourists create too much traffic, the residents become annoyed and unhappy. They begin to dislike tourists and to treat them impolitely. It’s enough to give anyone an earache. Women spend an average of about five years on the phone during their working lives, research has showed. You won’t be surprised to learn women spend 18 months longer than men on the phone--- who only chat for an average of three years.

Both sexes make and receive almost the same number of calls, 277,000 for men and 288,000 for women. But women spend 13,500 more hours in total on their conversations.
