社会学视野中的游戏与社会

①网络空间因“网络游戏”而进一步拓展,人类“个人与社会”关系的基本格局随之而变,“游戏”越来越多地紧密地介入其中,形成“个人—游戏—社会”的关系链条,充实乃至部分替代传统的“个人—组织—社会”关系格局。人类生活呈现出“游戏的社会化”和“社会的游戏化”这样两种相向而行的过程,在这里,游戏与娱乐、生存、生活乃至劳动的场景彼此镶嵌

..在一起。

②“游戏的社会化”是指基于快捷的网络信息传播能力,过去只有“相聚”在特定时空中才能玩的游戏,现在可在远隔重洋的两人、数人乃至成百上千人之间玩起来这样一个过程。在这个过程中,人们或通过游戏平台内置的系统,或通过社会生活中广泛使用的通信工具或软件加以沟通联系,甚至在不限于户内的特定空间中通过肢体动作进行虚拟的“身体接触”“仪式互动”,使得个人、游戏与社会之间通过现实与网络空间的交融与渗透。

③“社会的游戏化”指基于互联网平台、智能携带或穿戴式设备,人们的日常活动信息被多媒体化,更容易被“看见”,被相互比较,进而被纳入仪式性、比赛性或玩闹性表达和活动之中的过程。该过程能使相关社会成员在心理上形成一定程度的比赛感、紧张感。一个比较典型的例子是“微信运动”,在腾讯开发的类似计步数据库的公众账号中,用户通过关注微信运动公众号查看自己每天行走的步数,也可以和其他用户进行运动量的PK或点赞。

④这两个日益明显的过程表明“游戏化社会”正在来临。其包含的特征主要有三个方面:第一,许多涉及生存与发展的选择性、匹配性事务甚至劳动,被设置得像玩游戏一样。这样可减少事情原本具有的“神秘性”,增加公开性。第二,因“玩家”置身其中的“游戏”多元化,会出现文化多元化。为了避免无谓的争端,“游戏”规则要“回归常识”。第三,在“游戏化”了的“社会”里,人们仍然需以肉身存在,仍然共享同一个时空结构。因此,人类“大游戏”的底色(比如“和平”“发展”等主题)仍然发挥着重要作用。

⑥技术力量让“游戏”有了更多的可能性。在网络时代,“玩家”越来越能克服台式电脑对“游戏”的束缚,“网络游戏”必将发生天翻地覆的变化,现在所谓“宅”的含义将来很难再与“网络游戏”画上等号。可以预期,5G技术可能影响的一个重要方面就是,新型游戏空间乃至游戏形式的搭建。未来,现实空间的活动将有更大更多的可能性与虚拟空间衔接和镶嵌在一起,比如,一座废弃的工厂可能成为人们开展网络“游戏”的场所。

⑦经济力量出于利益驱动会推动“游戏”的再造,并形成新的“游戏化社会”的发展动能。

如上所述,废弃的工厂可能成为新型“游戏”的场所,于是,在工业时代的物理“废墟”之上,可能建立起新型的“游戏帝国”。伴随着“游戏”而成长起来的新生代一旦掌握了巨大的经济权力,会回馈“游戏”以新的动能,助推“游戏”脱离静止的电脑,拥抱更为复杂和宽大的现实空间。

⑧社会力量会越来越多地受益于“游戏化社会”的全息记载功能,对“公开、公平、公正”的诉求,让其成为“游戏化社会”的强大支持者。过去,“书写”及其载体“书本”增加了人类思想和知识交往沟通的范围,改变了人类的生活与制度,进而改变了人类社会。在网络时代,“书写”的内容极大地丰富了,变成了“录音”“录像”“刻录”“集录”,未来可能还会涉及“全息记载”;与“书本”对应的则有形式多样的“存储器”“云存储”等。“游戏化社会”将进一步导致人们行为“留痕”可能性和方式的更大变化;人们做的某事或某决定,很容易被这样的网络“游戏”所记录。一切有迹可循,让公众对“公开、公平、公正”的诉求能力变得更为强大,进而也让社会力量成为“游戏化社会”的强大支持者。

⑨总之,当今时代,伴随着网络技术的进一步深化发展,“游戏化社会”正在来临。应该承认,当今世界,围绕利益、信任和权力等机制建立起来的各种各样的常规组织,毫无疑问,仍然是个人与个人之间关系的重要桥梁。尽管如此,相关行为主体特别是个人在其中的位置和关联方式却并非是一成不变的。伴随着“游戏化社会”的发展,广大民众形成的社会能量在日益壮大,传统利益、信任和权力格局的改变也就是意料之中的事。

①白鹭终于飞了起来——身影如燕山之雪,飘飞,俯仰,迂回,穿行在碧蓝如水的天空,在湿地那幅翠绿与苍黄间杂、色彩浓郁的油画里。

②“草长平湖白鹭飞。”我已在那里恭候多时。每次开头都要等,都要凝望。那时你根本不知它藏在哪里。待你稍一走神,突然,一只或几只白鹭便刷地飞了起来——太远,我听不到声音,“刷地”只是我的感觉。这里不是燕山,而是边城普洱——我的目光任那些雪花牵引着,顿时超越了俗世,去到了某个纯净自在的世界。我注重自在。万物既有它自在的缘由,也有它自在的时刻。飞行时的白鹭是自在的。自在,是生命最为生动的姿态。其时,想起《诗经》的“凤凰于飞,翙翙其羽”。

③最早见湿地里有白鹭飞过,还是刚来边城不久。开头我以为那是哈尼族长诗里常常出现的白鹇鸟,友人说不是,是白鹭。那会儿的白鹭好像也就一两只。有时路过那片水域,我会静静地注视它们一会儿。那时它们还小,加之边城的秋天来得既晚亦短,周遭水草丰盛花木繁茂,本就不大的水域让苇丛隔成了几片,小白鹭刚一起飞,就像支持不住,立马藏进了另一处苇丛。几次想用手机拍下它们,都没成功,然而在远处看它们的起飞与栖止,也成了一件乐事。渐渐地,它们飞得高了些远了些,但是它们的起飞与回旋似都无定规,想要拍下其翩翩姿影谈何容易。只要看到边城深秋、初冬时分翠绿与苍黄夹杂的背景上,那飞动回旋着的白色精灵,心就有了一种无名的安顿与愉悦。从它们面前,当然也是从我面前掠过的,既是深紫秋红也是碧绿幽蓝,小小湖面波光粼粼,星辉成串,着白色舞裙的白鹭雀跃着,无论低空飞翔,还是脚尖触水的刹那,都会让人的心湖随之荡漾。

④很难想象,位于北回归线附近的普洱,与我们的台湾和遥远的古巴,竟在同一纬度线上。往西南方向百多公里,就是西双版纳,边城冬天比昆明暖,夏天比景洪凉。这是座温暖亦温和的城,不惟天气,还有人心、人情。温和是一种品行一种气质。白鹭喜欢这里,缘由就不言自明了。

⑤大多时候,白鹭是歇着的,那是另一种自在。飞行不是目的。再华丽的飞行,最终都会

归于一次寻常的歇落,择良枝而栖方是终生的日常。那时,它们一溜地临水而立,像是约好了一起晒太阳。太阳真好。阳光下的白鹭,像都披上了金色大氅。四野悄寂,似能听见它们说,别以为我们已收敛了翅膀,我们从不属于尘埃,即便哪天再也回不到空中,也会悄悄练习飞翔。偶尔,能看到它们在苇丛间游动,其姿娴雅从容。

⑥有一次,几只白鹭正相跟着游向一团艳红的花丛,我以为那只是花的倒影——水域四周,冬樱花正开得灿如云霞。我盯着那丛花、那些白羽,一时,仿佛晴空中起了海风海浪,许久才回过神来。白鹭乃中国文化的经典意象。“振鹭于飞,于彼西雍”,《诗经·振鹭》以白鹭起兴,鼓吹吟诵以迎嘉宾,还有王维的“漠漠水田飞白鹭”,张志和的“西塞山前白鹭飞”,杜甫的“一行白鹭上青天”,李白的“三山半落青天外,二水中分白鹭洲”……白鹭一直飞翔

..在诗词的格律与音韵之中。这个小小的名词唤起的,从来都是喜庆、高洁、典雅与清明。

⑦如此说来,我是有多幸运呢?始于19世纪初,中外曾有无数人出没于这座边城,几人有过这样的幸运?为弄清能否打通一条从云南到湄公河入海口的蒸汽船贸易航路,1867年10月,随着著名的法国湄公河考察队进入这座边城,写下过《加内报告》的加内先生,在进入当年的思茅、如今的普洱时曾说:“天空湛蓝,万里无云,连绵起伏的山丘上有一点晒得干枯的植被。红墙或白墙旁会有几棵树,很吸引人的目光。我们恍惚到了普罗旺斯。”然而他肯定没有看到过这里的白鹭。那之后,1895年随另一支法国湄公河考察队进入这座边城,写下《从东京湾到印度》一书的亨利·奥尔良,尽管“围绕着澜沧江这片叶子的主干,行走在那些更加细小的叶脉里”,大约也没看到过这种景象。他们都心不在焉,觊觎的只是这片大地及其物产。而上世纪40年代到过边城,著有《滇南散记》一书的左翼作家马子华先生忙于禁烟,西南联大教授刘文典先生则急着为人写墓志铭,体悯的都是人间甘苦,料想都无暇顾及几只白鹭,去深味生命的自在。

⑧自在,是生命万物毕生的追求。白鹭在这里度过了一个温暖的冬天,没人去打搅它们。它们的儿女都长大了吧?过年了,它们要回家吗?等春天到了,它们还会在这里飞翔或栖息吗?

⑨离开那片湿地时回头一望,随着一阵花枝颤动,碧蓝如水的天上,白鹭又飞了起来……
