SEB320

320X 256, 20μm pitch, InSb MWIR

SEB320 is the half-TV member of the

sod_scd

distinguished SEBASTIAN family of DIGITAL IR

detectors. This small and compact detector was

developed for applications that require low

weight and power consumption, without making

any compromise in performance.

SEBASTIAN detectors have an on-chip 15 bit

A/D conversion, which results in an easy camera-link interface, a very stable non-uniformity correction and improved system noise performance.

The SEBASTIAN is the first fully digital IR detector family that has been introduced into the market, and it has thus become SCD’s technological flag-ship.

SEB480

480 X 384, 20μm pitch, InSb MWIR

SEB480 is an enhanced mid format version of the

sod_scd

distinguished SEBASTIAN family of DIGITAL IR detectors,

specially designed to provide better resolution to systems

based on standard 30μm.

A special small and compact configuration, GALI, was

specially developed and optimized for Hand Held

applications.

DUON is an effective solution to dual band requirements, that integrates two SEB480 FPA’s on a single package sharing one cooler. The SEBASTIAN detectors have an on-chip 15 bit A/D conversion, which result in an easy camera-link interface, a very stable non-uniformity correction and improved noise system performance.

PELICAN

640 X 512, 15 μm pitch, InSb MWIR

PELICAN is a full TV format detector, with the size

sod_scd

and package of a standard half TV. With the

introduction of PELICAN, high resolution systems

are no longer limited to costly and bulky detectors.

HERCULES

1280 X 1024, 15 μm pitch, InSb MWIR

HERCULES is a state-of-the-art Mega-pixel detector

designed for the most stringent resolution demanding

sod_scd

applications. The latest technological advances in IR detectors are

converging in HERCULES, to make it one-of-a-kind: The

all-digital approach of SEBASTIAN and the small 15 μm

pitch of PELICAN. This results in unique features, such as a compact

package that works with a 0.5W cooler or a mega-pixel

detector that provides a frame rate of 120 Hz, full frame.

A high sensitivity MCT-LWIR Integrated-Detector-Cooler Assembly which has become a standard of the industry for high performance, low cost ground based applications.

Integrated in a robust package, including Ricor's K508 cooler, for harsh environmental conditions.

480 x 6 MCT LWIR IDCA

A high sensitivity MCT-LWIR Integrated-Detector-Cooler Assembly, having 480 scan lines with TDI (Time-Delay-Integration) on 6 lines.

The TDI 480 is intended for high-end LWIR applications, where high resolution and sensitivity are a must.

BIRD 384

384 x 288, 25 μm pitch, VOx Microbolometer

With its appearance in the market in 2006, BIRD 384 was the first VOx,

25μm pitch uncooled detector available outside the USA.

BIRD 384 was designed for high and mid end uncooled applications, and was successfully integrated into many future soldier programs worldwide.

640 x 480, 17 μm pitch, VOx Microbolometer

BIRD 640, 17 μm is a compact large-format

applications. It combines a new ROIC based on

advanced, low power 0.18 μm VLSI process

with the robust VOx microbolometer

architecture of the BIRD family, and packaged

in a compact and rugged all-metal package.

BIRD 640

Following the success of BIRD 384, SCD is introducing this full -TV format

version of the BIRD family. BIRD 640 enjoys all of the properties that made BIRD a brand name for uncooled detectors, plus additional important

features such as the “fireman” operating mode (see movie and paper below).

BIRD 640 continues the commitment that SCD took to provide the market

with the best uncooled detector performance at affordable prices.
