单元教材分析:

本单元的中心话题是:“邀请”,功能为“发出、接受或谢绝邀请”和“讨论责任”。本单元的教学,要引导学生掌握重点句型“Can you come to my party on Saturday ?”Sure, I’d love to .\Sorry, I must study for a math test .”Can he go to the party ?”No , he can’t.He has to help his parents.”学会运用这些句型发出、接受邀请或谢绝邀请,提高与人交际的得体性。

二、学生情况分析

学生初一已学过情态动词can,并且学习现在进行时已学了许多关于活动的短语,他们已经有了描述活动的能力,因此,本单元学习时注意回答方式即可。只要积极参与教学任务中去,和教师、同伴进行互动、合作交流定能学好这节内容。

一、prepare用作及物动词时

1). prepare sth.表示“准备......”,后接名词或代词作宾语

e.g. Our English teacher was preparing the lessons when I came into the office.

我进办公室时,我们的英语老师在备课。

当宾语是食物之类的东西时,可译为“制;做”

e.g. Mother was preparing dinner in the kitchen while Father was watching TV.

妈妈在做饭,而爸爸在看电视。

2). prepare sb. sth.表示"给......准备......",也可转换为prepare sth. for sb.

e.g. She prepared us a nice breakfast.

= She prepared a nice breakfast for us.

她给我们准备了可口的早餐。

3). prepare sb. for sth.

表示“使某人对某事有所准备” 例如:

She said so because she wanted to prepare her father for the bad news.

她这样说因为她想使爸爸对那个坏消息有准备。

4). prepare to do sth.表示“准备做......”。

e.g. They were preparing to cross the river when it began to rain.

他们正准备过河,突然下雨了。

二、prepare用作不及物动词时: prepare for sth.表示"为......做准备“

e.g. The students are busy preparing for the final exam. 学生们正在准备期末考试。

法制教育内容:《公共场所管理条例》

第四十九条娱乐场所未按照本条例规定建立从业人员名簿、营业日志,或者发现违法犯罪行为未按照本条例规定报告的,由县级人民政府文化主管部门、县级公安部门依据法定职权责令改正,给予警告;情节严重的,责令停业整顿1个月至3个月。

第五十条娱乐场所未按照本条例规定悬挂警示标志、未成年人禁入或者限入标志的,由县级人民政府文化主管部门、县级公安部门依据法定职权责令改正,给予警告。

提醒学生注意be going to do 和be planning to do 都用于将来打算做的事情,但plan to do 有更强的目的性和计划性,并根据表格操练所学句型:

Explain:

1. That’s really too bad! Oh, but Sam isn’t leaving until next Wednesday.在英语中,not…until…是一个常见句型,表示“ 直到……才……”。在口语中,还使用Till 代替until ,构成not…till… 的结构。

如:Don’t leave today’s work till tomorrow. 不要今天的事留到明天再做。

I didn’t go to bed until past midnight.昨晚我过了午夜12点才睡。

2. That’s too bad. Maybe another time.太糟了, 也许换个时间吧。

Maybe another time.相当于Maybe next time. 译为:也许下一次吧

another 表示三者或三折以上的“另一”

e.g. can you give me another book?你能再给我一本书吗?

3. Thanks for asking. 谢谢邀请。

表示感谢的几种方式:(1)thank you. 谢谢你。(2)thanks a lot. 多谢。

(3)thank you for your help. 谢谢你的帮助。(4)thank you for helping me. 谢谢你的帮助。

hang out with sb 与某人闲逛;和某人闲荡;和某人闲逛;和某人一起闲混

相关搭配:hang out with 与…出去玩e.g. hang out with friends

和朋友闲混;和朋友闲逛hang out with family

5. Sure! Catch you on Monday! 礼拜一见!

这是英语中有一种道别方式,相当于:See you next Monday!

类似的说法还有:Catch / See you later! (回头见!)

(2)情态动词的用法:

may/might, can/could,must, have to, shall/should, will/would,ought to, need, dare, used to。

现在我们来着重学习情态动词can 以及have to 的用法。

其特征主要有:

1. 不能独立作谓语,只能和动词原形一起构成谓语,表示说话人的语气和情态。

2. 没有人称和数的变化。(have to除外)

3. 否定形式:在其之后加not (have to除外)。

疑问形式:情态动词提到主语之前(have to 除外)。

Making invitations 发出邀请

“Do you have any plan next Friday night?

We are having some friends over for a dinner party. Would you like to join us?”

Accepting invitations

Someone asks: “Would you like to...”

You: “I’d love to, thank you.”“That’s very kind of you, thanks.”

Someone asks: “Do you like to go to themovie theater with us this afternoon?”

You: “That’s great, thank you.” “What a good idea, thank you.”

Declining invitations

“That’s very kind of you, but actually I’m planning to see my grandma next Saturday.”

“I’m really sorry, but I have to do something else on next weekend.”

“I really don’t think I can make it—I am supposed to be at airport picking up my

friend next Sunday morning.”

Remember:

当你拒绝他人的邀请时, 要特别注意礼貌。通常你要给个理由, 说明为什么无法接受邀请, 或者道歉。
