Both Rose and her husband had lost their jobs, and now they were living in and out of motels with their son, Jack. Often they worried about their car because the bank would take it if they didn?t

For 20 years, people have been following the simple rules: Fat makes you fat. Fat gives you heart attacks. Eat it at your risk. So when we make another decision for the coming year to lose

Back in 1912, chocolate maker Charlie Johnson had a problem. His chocolate didn?t ship well in hot weather, so candy stores ordered almost none between June and September. To stay in business, Charlie decided to develop a summer line: hard candy mints(薄荷糖).

Every ten minutes, one kind of animal, plant or insect dies out forever. If nothing is done about it, one million kinds that are alive today will become extinct twenty years from now.
