【考点聚焦】

◆名词单复数

1.用法:英语中的名词分为不可数名词和可数名词。不可数名词是指不能记数的名词,没有复数形式。可数名词是指可以记数的名词,有单数复数两种形式。一般情况下,表示一个概念时用可数名词的单数形式,表示两个或多个概念时用可数名词复数形式。如:a book 一本书,three books 三本书。

2.名词复数的变化规则及读音:

(1)一般情况加s例如:map-maps ,boy-boys(清辅音后读/s/,浊辅音和元音后读/z/, /s/、/z/、/d?/等音后发/iz/)

(2)以s, x, sh, ch结尾加es,读/iz/。例如:bus-buses ,watch-watches

(3)以辅音字母+y结尾,变y为i再加es,读/iz/。例如:baby-babies ,city-cities。(4)以f或fe结尾的,变f或fe为v,再加es,读/vz/。thief-thieves,wife-wives (5) 以o结尾的词加-s/-es. 如potato—potatoes tomato—to matoes radio—radios

◆介绍他人,辨认人物。

1.Who is he? 这是以who引导的特殊疑问句,通常用于询问人物的身份。如:

Who is the girl? She is my sister. 这个女孩是谁?她是我的妹妹。

Who is she? She is Kate. 她是谁?她是凯特。

2.This is my friend Jane. 这是我的朋友简。句子结构This is 常用来向别人介绍某人。类似的句子还有:That is… 那是…;These are…这些是…;Those are… 那些是……。如:

This is my sister. That is my brother. These are my parents. Those are my grandparents.

这是我的妹妹,那是我的哥哥,这些是我的父母亲,那些是我的祖父母。

this与that, these与those是对应词。This的复数是these,that的复数是 those。

◆肯定句、否定句和一般疑问句:

对事物作出肯定判断的句子叫肯定句。如:My name is Jim.

对事物作出否定判断的句子叫否定句。如:My name isn't Jim.

对事物有疑问的句子叫疑问句。如:Is your name Jim?

1.含有动词be(am,is,are)的肯定句变为否定句的方法:把一个肯定句变为否定句,如果句子中有be动词,只需要在be动词后面加一个not 即可。如:

肯定句否定句

My name is Jim. → My name isn't Jim.

I'm a boy. → I'm not a boy.

2.含有动词be(am,is,are)的肯定句变为一般疑问句的方法:把一个肯定句变为疑问句,如果句子中有be动词,只需要把be动词放在句首,变为大写,在句尾加一个问号就可以了。如:

肯定句一般疑问句

My name is Jim. →Is your name Jim?

I'm a boy. →Are you a boy?

注:巧变含有动词be(am,is,are)的一般疑问句的秘诀:一调二改三问号

一调:即把句中的be(am / is / are)调到主语前;

二改:句中的主语若含有I(my / we)等第一人称代词时,需将它们分别改为第二人称you (your / you);

三问号:句末的句号改为问号。如:

My name is Jim. → Is your name Jim?

3.含有动词be(am,is,are)的一般疑问句的回答:

其回答语有肯定与否定两种形式,肯定回答用Yes, …,否定回答用No, … .
