After reading ,a deep sense I received is that people can’t be conquered by setback.A man is not made for defeat,a man can be destroyed but not defeated. She was called Liz,born in a family with no money,no hope or anything else about happiness.what’s worse,her parents were both drug addicts,and mother was drunkard at the same time.On this occasion,even she had no food to eat,no clothes to change.At our eyes,nothing was so terrible.But to our surprise,she did not hate it at all,for all of her life.In the book we can see how tough she faced life.Faced with the setback,she took great care of her sick parents at an age that she should be taken care of.What I admire is her of not retreating when being in trouble.

On the other hand,she was also a ambitious girl.After her mother’s death she decided to go to school instead of escaping life.No matter how difficult the things were,she never gave up learning.She wanted to change the condition and she knew working hard could come true,so she did.And she succeeded,she was admitted to Harvard in the end.No doubt,nothing in the world is difficult for one who sets his mind to it.

Facing the setback,sometimes we just need the courage to say
