A Letter to Mayor Yang

Respected mayor,

I’m a student from XXX. I’m worried about the traffic in Shanghai. It’s becoming a more and more serious problem, especially during rush hour because many people go to work in their own cars and some people don’t obey the traffic rules.

I know Shanghai is trying to solve the traffic problem in different ways. However, the problem hasn’t been solved yet. I think it’s a good idea for the government to improve the public transportation so that more and more people would like to take the subway or buses. In addition, the government had better reduce the number of cars by increasing the cost of driving.

I really hope there will be fewer traffic problems in our city.
