一、疑难精析

2. good与well

well和good都表示“好”。但是good是形容词,用来修饰名词;而well是副词,用来修饰动词、形容词和副词。如:

She is a good painter. 他是一个好画家。

She paints very well. 她画得非常好。

Well done! 干得好!

(well作形容词时只作表语,指指身体健康状况良好。I think he will get well. 我想他会好的。I am quite well today. 我今天身体很好)

但是在本课中,well表示语气词,相当于汉语中的“好”“那好”,表示说话的继续。如:Well,then she said…“好,后来她说……”

表示惊讶、困惑等意思时为“啊”。

Well作副词,修饰动词。如:Kate doesn’t sing well, but she dances well. 凯特唱歌唱得不好,但她跳舞跳得很好。

2. have与there be句型的区别

There be是表示“在某处存在某物”,而have则是表示所属的意思,即“拥有”,通常主语是人。我们来看两个句子:

There is a book on the desk. 书桌上有一本书。

I have many books. 我有很多本书。

3. Let's

句中的let's 表示“让我们”,这个句型表示说话人的建议,建议说话人和听话人一起去干某事情,它是let us 的缩写形式,但用let us 表示的是说话人建议听话人让说话人干某事。例如:

Let’s go to school.让我们到学校去。

Let's play basketball. 让我们打蓝球去。

Teacher Wang, let us read the book now. 王老师,让我们读课文吧。

二、语法在线

1. Do you have…? 你有….吗?

Yes, I do. 是的,我有。

No, I don’t. 不,我没有。

Does he/she have…? 他/她有……吗?

Yes, she/he does. 是的,他有。

No, she/he doesn’t. 不,他没有。

在这里,do和does是助动词,主要在句子中用来帮助其它动词构成疑问式、否定式和强形式,或构成时态、语态和语气,但它一般没有意义。所以,在回答的时候,我们不能说:Yes, I have. 而只能说:Yes, I do.

(1) do是助动词,通常用在疑问句和否定句中,代替动词发生变化,而此时动词不发生变化。它通常没有意义。

(2) Do通常与I, you, we, they等第一人称和第三人称复数形式连接。它还有一种变化形式:does。这种形式通常与he, she等第三人称单数连用。

(3) do构成一般疑问句的方式与be动词构成方式相同。在回答的时候我们也不能说:Yes,

I have. 而要说:Yes, I do.

2. have v.有;吃;饮

have是英语中很有用的动词,基本含义是“有”。如课文中的I have a soccer ball. have 在he, she, it 后面要变成has,即:一般现在时态第三人称单数形式。如: He has a basketball. Have 当动词“有”的意思时,句式是:

陈述句: I have a nice bag.

疑问句: Do you have a nice bag? Yes, I do/No, I don’t.

否定句: I don’t have a nice bag.

have与其它的词组合成词组、短语,就不表示有了,其意思与后面的名词接近。如:have classes(上课); have breakfast(吃早饭); have a good time(玩得高兴); have sports(进行体育活动); have a day off(休假)等等。

1. interesting 和interested

(1) Interesting 是“令人感兴趣的”之意,表示事物本身能使人发生兴趣。如:

The book is very interesting.这本书很有趣。

It’s an interesting story.这是很有趣的故事。

(2)interested常表示某人对某事物感兴趣,多用be interested in sth.句型。如:

She is interested in the story.她对这个故事很感兴趣。

说明:源于同一动词的现在分词和过去分词被用作形容时,一般都有这种区别,现在分词作形容词用时,表示事物本身具有“令人.....” “使人...”之意, 过去分词作形容词用时,表示主语对某事“感到...”。常见的还有exciting,excited,bored,boring,moving,moved等。修饰interesting用very, 修饰interested用much, very much和very。

2. every day 和everyday

(1)every day作状语,意为“每天”。如:

He reads newspaper every day.

I play sports every day.

(2) everyday用作形容词,意为“每日的,日常的”。在句中作定语。” 如:

Reading newspapers becomes one important part of his everyday life.

看报成了他日常生活中的一个重要部分。

3. many和much

(1) many与可数名词的复数形式连用。可用在肯定句、否定句和疑问句中。如:

I have many story-books. 我有许多故事书。

Tom hasn’t many books.汤姆没有许多书。

Dose he have many friends here? 他在这有许多朋友吗?

(2) Much是对量和程度而言,只能修饰不可数名词。如:

He doesn’t know much English .他懂得英语不多。

Is there much ink in the bottle? 瓶子里有许多墨水吗?

4. them和they

(1) them为人称代词宾格。在句中作宾语。如:

She often helps them with their work. 她常常帮助他们干活。(作动词的宾语)

Mike is playing football with them. 迈克正在和他们一起踢足球(作介词的宾语)。

(2) they是人称代词主格,在句中做主语。如:

They have many books.他们有很多书。

They are my good friends .他们是我的好朋友。

5. sound n.声音;v.听起来;似乎

(1)名词: the sound of birds singing鸟儿歌唱的声音

(2) sound作动词时为系动词,后接形容词作表语。

His explanation sounds all right. 他的解释似乎有理。

That sounds great! 这听起来好极了!

(3) Sound like + 名词:听起来像……

Your idea sounds (like) a good one. 你的想法听起来很好。

(4)类似的系动词还有:look(看上去);smell(闻上去);feel(感觉上去)等。如:You look smart today. 你今天看上去很精神。
