On the contrary, most men who are educated in western countries always keep an open attitude toward love, so they’re confused to see their Chinese wives’ violent reaction to such things. Third, eating habits. In China, there are diverse ideas and techniques for cooking and it’s pretty normal that a single raw material can be cooked in over six ways. We eat three meals a day and our staple food is basically rice or noodles. In western countries, whether food types or cooking techniques are limited. Their daily life is occupied by various fast foods which provide high calories and fat. Does spending much time in the kitchen mean a waste of time? Not necessarily for us Chinese! Although cross-border marriage may seem as dreamily beautiful as a fairytale, the tale is based more on romantic imagination than reality. Different culture, tastes, eating habits, life experiences and the like, all these factors resemble strong waves, which may wash the dream away as soon as the weather becomes stormy.
