兰州电机的主要产品有0.3-5（MW）风力发电机、1-2（MW）风力发电机组、220-20000（KW）高压交（直）流电动机、0.55-2000（KW）低压交流电动机、0.55-5000（KW）变频调速电机、3-10000（KW）船用、陆用交流发电机、1-2000（KW） 200-2500（HZ）中频发电机、电动机，0.15-140（Nm）交流伺服、主轴及步进电机，160-40000（KW）水轮发电机组、12-5000（KW）移动（固定）电站、发电机组、低噪音自动化机组，高低压控制屏柜。兰州电机以电机制造为主业，作为电机用户解决方案的服务商，致力于电机及控制技术提升和扩展，根据用户要求，研发制造特殊专用电机产品。
兰州电机从美国GE、WESTHOUSE、德国AEG、LDW、SIEMENS、日本三菱引进了电机设计制造技术，使兰州电机的产品品质达到国内领先、国际同类先进产品的水平。
从上世纪六十年代开始，公司研制了中频发电机等特殊电机，经过不断改进，电机性能优良、质量稳定可靠，产品标准符合GJB1213《中频、双频发电机通用规范》、GJB572《飞机地面电源供电特性及一般要求》和GJB181《飞机供电特性及对用电设备的要求》对发电机的要求，同时也与美军标MIL-STD-704F和北大西洋公约组织相关标准的要求相一致。尤其是电磁兼容性能完全满足GJB151和美军标MIC-STD-461B的要求。
中频发电机主要性能指标体现在电压波形好、偏离系数小、调压精度高、不对称负载、电压调制差值小。形成了自己独特的特点。
兰州电机拥有各类加工、测试、试验设备1500多台，具有国际先进水平的高精尖数控加工、检测设备70余台。如：德国DMG车铣复合五轴联动卧式加工中心、立式加工中心、Trumpf数控激光切割机，SCHENKER数控
高速度平衡机、美国FLOW高压水射流切割机、数控摩尔坐标磨、西班牙数控立卧加工中心、日本数控高精度线切割机、美国三坐标测量仪等。精良的设备保证了产品品质。

Lanzhou is the unique capital city in China's Yellow River Basin, of which Yellow River is passing through. Lanzhou Electric Corporation introduces motor designing and manufacturing
technique from GE in USA, AEG, LDW & Siemens in Germany, Mitsubishi in Japan in order to make the quality meet to the advanced level not only in the domestic but also in the international.
From 1960’ on, Lanzhou Electric Corporation developed medium-frequency etc. special motors. Through continuous improvements, the product gets good performance and reliable quality which meets GJB1213 “General Criterion for Medium / double Frequency Generator”, GJB572 “Power Supply Characteristics and General Requirements for Aircraft Ground Power”and GJB 181 “Power Supply Characteristics for Plane and Requirements for Electrical Equipment”. Meanwhile, they can meet American Military Standard MIL-STD-704F and requirements of North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Especially electromagnetic compatibility can completely meet GJB151 and MIL-STD-704F.
Medium frequency generator shows its good performance for the voltage waveform, small deviation coefficient, high precise of voltage adjustment, unbalanced load and small value of voltage adjustment, which become its own distinct features.
