Over the years there have been several advancements in the Health Care manufacturing (制造) technology. With the discovery of new illness or diseases, the Pharmaceutical (药物) companies around the world are using the most modern and effective technologies for manufacturing Health care products. One such major invention that has gained wide popularity is the liquid filled capsules (液体填注胶囊).

Just like the traditional ones, these capsules also have two pieces and they offer several benefits over the traditional soft surface capsules. The benefits are discussed below:

Production benefits. The process of manufacturing (制造) of these hard surface capsules is simple.Another significant benefit of these capsules is that they are manufactured into standard sizes which are scientifically designed and ruled. This makes the packaging process easy.Besides, the liquid filling of the capsules totally avoids the risk of dust and chemical outflow, which means capsules of this kind are easy to handle and environmentally friendly.

Drug formulation (配方) benefits. The capsules that have liquid contain less number of excipients(赋形剂) as compared to other Healthcare Products. It is better for the users too as the liquid filling makes the process of absorbing easy and quick. These capsules are a kind of improvement for formulations that can hardly be mixed in the water. There are many highly powerful chemicals in the formulation. With liquid filling the capsules could last for a long time.Additionally, there is more uniformity (均匀性)in content filling.Liquid filling is best suited for making capsules that have formulations which should be kept away from being damp.

Sales and marketing benefits. These are far better than the traditional capsules from the sales and marketing view as these capsules have attractive colours on the

选项。

There are many problems in the world everywhere we go.There is a big problem in schools, especially in high schools.__9__ Teens have figured that it is okay to cheat because everyone does it.Dishonesty has become a big factor in today's society.Cheating affects everyone in some way.

Cheating occurs every day in every school.Cheating occurs even in the nicest schools, including private schools. This usually occurs when someone does not study for a test or just does not feel like thinking.__10__

There is a wide range of cheating that can go on in schools. It can be as simple as copying one word,or copying the whole test.Whatever the extent of the cheating, that does not make it right. In today's society, teens just assume that cheating is an acceptable way of getting through test.__11__

Cheating affects me because when I study very hard for a test, someone else may do better than me because of their cheating. This may ruin the curve for the class.__12__ With that, sometimes I feel taken advantage of when someone glances over at my paper.I don't always cover it up,but sometimes I do.

This effects my motivation to learn because I figure that studying is not worth it anymore if everyone is cheating and I might as well not study as hard. This can be frustrating.Cheating widely affects others too.__13__ It ruins the learning environment in the classroom.

In conclusion,no matter what the motivation is,it is wrong to cheat. But today,so many do it that teachers have to watch even more carefully.

What shall we do about it?We have to face the problem of cheating. If everyone would guard themselves against cheaters, they might give it up.

A.They don't care even though they know the consequences.

B.It seems as if teachers don't care, and you can get away with it. C.Cheating is a big problem and a headache for teachers to watch out for. D.Cheating only sends a negative message to everyone.

E.Also, one might do it because he knows he can get away with it.

F.I used to get mad at cheaters for not playing fair, but I think it more fun to

battle with them.

G.And that is not fair because I could have got a better score.

答案

9.C [文中的“a big problem in schools,especially in high schools”与C项中的“a big problem”“a headache”相呼应。]

10.E [文中的“This usually occurs when someone does not study for a test or just does not feel like thinking”说明了作弊的一些原因,E项说明了作弊的另外的原因,故选E项。]

Dear__Mike,

I'm__very__glad__to__have__received__the__letter__you__sent__me__last__week .I have been thinking about the question you asked me.From my point of view, you can choose to come to China after finishing your studies.

For one reason,China's development over the past 30 years offers quantities of job opportunities for the young. What's more, what you are studying is badly needed in China nowadays. In fact, many big companies in our city are hoping to hire people like you.

For another reason,China is a country with so different cultures and traditions from the West that many foreigners enjoy living and working here. Why not come and join them?I'm sure you'll adapt to the environment quickly. If you come,I will do what I can to help you.So what are you waiting for?

That is known to us that respect for one’s parents is one of Chinese traditional moral value. And most students nowadays are “the only child”. For an example, we are advised to remember our parents’ birthdays. Beside this, it is necessary that we should also tell our parents what we are going to do when we go out. The program has been such successful that it has been high praised by many people. 第三套 One of my happiest childhood memories were having dinner with my parents and two sisters. As a result, found that we seldom had a chance to get together, then we decided that we would set aside three evenings the week for a sit-down dinner. Mark often talked constantly. I had to remind him again and again that talking without permission was not acceptable. What impressed me so much, though, was his sincere response every time I had to correct h im for misbehaving.“Thank you for correcting me, Sister!” I didn’t know what to make of it at first, but before long I became accustomed to hearing it many times a day. One morning my patience was growing thin when Mark talked once too often, and then I made a new teacher’s mistake.I looked at him and said,“If you say one more word, I am going to tape(用胶带封上) your mouth shut!” It wasn’t ten seconds later when Chuck, another student, blurted out, “Mark is talking again.” I hadn’t asked any of the students to help me watch Mark, but since I had stated the punishment in front of the class, I had to act on it. I remember the scene as if it had occurred this morning. I walked to my desk, very deliberately opened my drawer and took out a roll of masking tape.Without saying a word, I proceeded to Mark’s desk, tore off two pieces of tape and made a big X with them over his mouth.I then returned to the front of the room.As I glanced at Mark to see how he was doing, he winked at me.When I walked back to Ma rk’s desk and removed the tape, his first words were, “Thank you for correcting me, Sister.” One Friday, I asked the students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then I told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down.It took the remainder of the class period to finish the assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed me the paper. That Saturday, I wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and I listed what everyone else had said about that individual. On Monday I gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling.“Really?” I heard the whispers.“I never knew that meant anything to anyone!”“I didn’t know others liked me so much!”Then Mark said, “Thank you for teaching me, Sister.” No one ever mentioned those pieces of paper in class again.I never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents. Several years later, after I returned from vacation, my parents met me at the airport.Mother gave Dad a side-ways glance and simply said,“Dad?” My father cleared his throat as he usually did before saying something important.“The Eklunds called last night,” he bega n.“Really?”I said.“I haven’t heard from them in years.I wonder how Mark is.”Dad responded quietly.“Mark was killed in the Vietn am War,” he said.“The funeral(葬礼) is tomorrow, and his parents would like it if you could attend.” I had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. Mark looked so handsome, so mature. After the funeral, Mark’s mother and father found me.“We want to show you something,”his father said.“They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it.” Opening a billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces
