如何提升初中生英语学习能力之我见

现如今在中小学各科中，学生英语能力的提高成了一个比较突出的问题，根据我多年的教学经验，就如何提高学生的英语能力，谈谈我的一些教学举措。
一.学生阅读能力的提高
阅读的目的是为了获取信息，理解的正确与否是阅读的关键。因此，根据不同的阅读目标，阅读时需要分层活动，选择正确的阅读方法。从八年级英语新目标下开始每个单元都增加了Reading环节，在每一个Reading部分都有一些让学生掌握阅读策略和技能的习题，它们能帮助学生有效的提高阅读技能。我让学生阅读的方式有，1.浏览阅读全文，目的是为了掌握文章的内容大意，它是一种面式读法。一篇文章通常围绕一个中心思想展开，段落之间有着内在的联系，整篇文章的中心思想是通过各个段落的中心思想的深入阐述烘托出来的。用来表达中心思想的句子称为主题句（the topic sentence），它通常出现在文章首句或文章末句。因此，在确定文章的中心思想时，要求学生重视阅读文章的首句和末句以及小标题。例如，在学习八年级英语新目标下册Unit 8 Reading：why don’t you learnto sing English songs？这篇文章时，要求学生5分钟快速浏览全文，说出文章的大意，学生根据浏览阅读的方法，很快找出文章的大意，即Besides singing English songs，there are many fun ways to learn English 2.点式读法，其目的是为了寻找特定细节或具体信息的线索。文章确定了中心思想后，还必须通过许多细节信息来表达主题，因此找到这些细节信息是归纳概括
文章中心思想的基础。3.Detai1 Reading，即详细阅读全文，其目的是为了掌握文章全部内容并抓住文章细节，回答以下问题：（1）Were a1l the singers able to sing English songs just asweI1 as native speakers？（2）What did the winners sayabout the competition？（3）How many ways are mentionedin the text？（4）Task Reading，即任务阅读，其目的是为了让学生阅读之后，通过短文填空的形式掌握文章重点短语和语言难点。以上阅读分层活动，为学生提供了从整体理解到局部理解，从局部理解到整体理解的训练过程，强化了学生的阅读能力，为巩固和运用语言知识奠定了基础。
二. 学生语感能力的提高
英语语感就是人们对英语语言的感觉。它包括人们对英语语音的感受，语意感受，以及语言情感色彩的感受等。它是人们对英语语言的直接感受能力，是人们对语法规则或语言组织方法的感受和运用，是经过反复感性认识上升为理性认识的经验和体会。英语语感是英语教学中相当难以测定，但又是重要的语言技能之一。它的培养不是一蹴而就的，也不会随着知识的增多自动提升。因此教师一定要注重培养，在不断培养学生语言运用能力的基础上逐步提高。
三.在互动中提高学生口语能力
1.英语教学中师生集体的互动
师生之间的互动不仅仅是英语知识的交流，更是心灵和心灵的交流。所以建立起和谐的师生关系是师生互动的基础！当我在教室里上课的时候，总会抛给孩子们很多的问题，教孩子们回答。“给”集体的也有。“给”学生个体的也有。然后我自己尽自己最大的努力来让每个孩子都能够充分的展示自己，这样我可以充分的调动起孩子们的积极性和学习英语的兴趣！从而达到热身的目的。当然每个问
题都是根据学生的情况而定，比如孩子们都很累了，我就会问一些“How are you today ？Are you busy ？Do you want play the computer game ？”等。唤起他们学习英语的那份热情。同时也唤起了他们活泼开朗的个性，以及朝气蓬勃的精神面貌！
2.生生互动
生生互动其实就是学生和学生之间的互动，也就是在英语课进行的期间开展孩子们之间的讨论，有同桌之间的讨论，也有小组讨论。让孩子们学会集思广益，学会讨论，学会相互之间进行沟通，学会团结合作，同时也给孩子们一个“发泄的舞台”。当然最重要的是让孩子们在生生互动中不断获得成功的体验。让他们对英语的学习更有兴趣也更有信心！
四.应用电教媒体，营造优美的英语学习环境，能力提高学生英语
语言是一种说的艺术，交流的产物，语言的优美，声调的活泼，可以使学生得到一种美的享受。在教学过程中，我经常播放一些原版的英文歌曲，英文儿歌的特点是旋律活泼优美，唱词简单，学生在欣赏的过程中会不由自主地歌唱。这样不仅提高了学生的听说能力，而且极大提高了学生的语感。我经常给学生放一些英语动画片，如《迪士尼神奇英语》《欢乐学英语》《狮子王》等这些动画片内容丰富，语言地道，通俗，集趣味性和故事性于一体，产生了强烈的动态效果，为学生创设了一个学习语言的自然环境，在这种环境熏陶下，潜移默化地培养学习兴趣。如在字母教学时我又提供了M麦当劳、KFC肯德基、WC厕所、P停车场等录像场景，这样使学生充分感到优美的视觉享受及英语的实用价值。
唱英文歌曲是学生的学习形式之一。一个单词读得多了，学生的耳朵会变得迟钝。嘴巴会疲倦，就很难保持对它的兴趣。如教学单词morning、afternoon、
evening、night时，就可以把这些单词替换成《生日快乐》这首旋律优美的歌曲中使学生听得兴致勃勃，唱得乐此不疲，在不知不觉中就掌握了单词。有一次，我把不同的动物叫声和动画加入到课件当中，声音与形象相结合，语言与前景相交融，使学生仿佛进入了语言活动的真实情景。通过耳濡目染，增强了语言实际的运用能力。
在学生学习英语的过程中，教师多想些方式，方法，个学生营造一个学习英语的环境，激起学生的学习兴趣。学生的能力就会有大的提高。
