剑桥BEC高级测试的真实性分析摘要:语言测试的真实性一直是测试界关心的问题,各界对于测试真实性的看法也不尽相同。bachman从两个方面定义测试的真实性:情景真实性和交际真实性。剑桥bec考试基本遵循交际语言能力测试模式,较好地测试了学习者的商务语言能力。

关键词:交际性测试;bec考试语言能力;真实性

一、引言

bachman的交际语言能力测试模式对英美国家测试界产生了比较深远的影响,近几年在我国推行的剑桥bec商务英语测试充分体现了baehman的交际语言能力测试模式。他不仅对语言能力测试提出了自己独到的看法,还对采用什么方法衡量考生的语言交际能力和如何评价语言测试提出了自己的模式。他所倡导的测试评价原则为实用性(usefulness),实用性原则则包括了信度、构想效度、真实性、相互作用性,后效作用和适用性。本文通过对bec高级测试的四套试卷的分析,来验证bec测试的真实性。

二、真实性(usefulness)

语言测试理论的核心之一就是测试的评价标准和原则。效度、信度和可行性是已为测试界广泛熟知的原则。近几年bachman和palmer(1996)提出了外语测试的实用性(usefulness)原则。即实用性为信度、构想效度、真实性、相互作用性,后效作用和适用性的总和。“相互作用性”主要指“在完成测试任务中所涉及到的受试者的个人特征的程度和种类”(bachman和palmerl996:25)。真实
