Health is a basic human need so healthcare should not be provided by private profit-making companies. Do you agree?

As we know, everyone needs healthcare. Some experts state that authority should offer nonprofit-making healthcare service. As far as I am concerned, I do agree with their belief.

There are basically three reasons for me to choose my voice. For one thing, medicine provided by government is considered of great security. Honesty speaking, it is suspicious to buy drugs which sale by private companies. For another, people can receive treatment at a cheaper price. Undoubtedly, profit-making store will lift the price, which is a heavy burden for citizens. Worry disappears that if healthcare is supplied by authority. Last but not least, government has the duty to offer this service. What people care most is our health. Only the demand to be fit is fulfilled, can we live better.

By contrast, I have to admit that profits exist that private companies take

profit-making companies make more money and create more

opportunity. Facing economic depression, a democratic and progressive government should give priority to decrease unemployment. Besides, competition will be ignited which is beneficial to us. Accordingly, new medicine or treat method will appear. They fade next to the benefits we achieve by the decision that nonprofit-making service provide healthcare.

In sum, I still tend to state that it is critical that healthcare should not be provided by private profit-making companies. As a result, we can acquire better outcome.

This is because few people are able to donate a large amount of money to construct schools, hospitals and roads in poor areas. Instead, governments and charities can achieve this. International aids can also purchase vaccines which are available in developed countries by using the money raised worldwide and save millions children’s life. In my view, minor proportion of donated money and other sorts of help should be appreciated equally as long as the money reaches to those who need it desperately. The government could run campaign and encourage door-to door help. At the same time, charitable organizations should make every penny count for donors.(word count：274)
