Do you know why different animals or pests (昆虫) have their special colors? Colors in them seem to be used mainly to protect themselves.

Some birds like eating locusts (蝗虫), but birds cannot easily catch them. Why? It is because locusts change their colors together with the change of the colors of crops(庄稼). In 1993 an unknown American called Clarence Nash went to see the filmmaker Walt Disney. He had an unusual voice and he wanted to work in Disney’s cartoon(动画片) film for children. When Walt Disney hear d Nash’s voice, he said”Stop! That’s our duck!”

A Children Restaurant

In Amsterdam, the capital of Holland, there is a unique Children Restaurant. It is run wholly by the children. From the manager to the cooks, cashiers, waiters or waitresses and other staff members are all children form 6 to 12 years old. They themselves do all the necessary work such as cooking and cleaning. The Piano Concert

A young woman in a small German town was going to give a piano concert. Her posters said that she was a pupil of Franz Liszt, the great Hungarian pianist..
