Most people thin sheep are stupid, friendly and harmless animals. The sheep are good for two things, being eaten and producing wool. The truth is that sheep are far smarter than we now. They build up friendships and stic up for one another in fights.

A 2001 study done by eith endric, who is now at the University of Electronic Science and Technology in China, found that sheep can remember at least 50 personal faces for more than 2 years. That is longer than many people.

“Sheep showed clear signs of being good at telling the differences,”says endric. The team also found that sheep can separate epressions and prefer a smile to a frown(皱眉).

A serious earthquae can be a terrible eperience, and it is easy to forget safety measures(措施) in

disorder(混乱). Fortunately, most earthquae safety measures are common sense, but if you forget everything else, remember the following instructions drop, cover, and hold on. Also, most of earthquae deaths happen after the earthquae, so remember that the danger does not end when the shaing does!

If you stay indoors during an earthquae, move away from unsupported areas and windows. Try to get under a doorway or another area of the building which is held up by strong beams(梁). Stay under a table or des only if it is very strong. Do not rush to lifts, because it is far safer to stay where you are. Cover your head with your arms around it and curl(蜷缩) into a ball, and wait for the shaing to stop.

If you stay outdoors during an earthquae, move to an area which is as open as possible. Don’t move to buildings, electric poles and other objects which may fall during an earthquae and injure you. Protect your head and stay low to the ground till the shaing ends and it is safe to move. After an earthquae, many buildings are less strong, although they appear safe. If you stay indoors, move people from the building quicly and help disabled or injured people. Once outdoors, move well away from the building so that if it falls down, you will not be injured. Wait till public safety officials announce that it is safe to stay indoors.

By planning ahead and eeping calm during an earthquae, you can greatly increase your chances of survival(生存) without injury.

In today’s busy world, it’s easy to put everyone else first. With the needs of wor and family, you might feel that there’s not much time left over for you.
