Lonely,孤独的,形容词。意思为孤独的,寂寞的荒凉的,偏僻的。既可以做表语,也可以做定语。

注意:lonely 和 alone 的区别,lonely指“人感到孤单”,含有浓重的感情色彩。而alone可作形容词和副词,表示“单独,独自一个”,不含感情色彩。
