《马达加斯加3》讲述狮子亚利克斯、斑马马蒂、长颈鹿麦尔曼以及河马格洛丽亚不惜一切想要回到纽约，结果遭到了动物管制局杜瓦的大追捕，只等绕道欧洲去往纽约，在“政治避难”过程中，没少惹麻烦，遇到了各种围追堵截，直到得到了一个拥有西伯利亚虎、美洲豹的马戏团协助和完美的掩护，才让它们如鱼得水，也让他们“马达加斯加”式的欢闹作风终于有了用武之地，并共同开始了一次回家之旅。
看完影片最大感悟就是人生就是一旅行，而不是目的地，影片密集的笑点、绚丽的造型、令人身临其境的3d技术带来一场欢快的视听盛宴，另外还提供了足够多的笑话，动作戏及有趣的情节，这些足够让人开怀大笑一阵了。
还有就是感悟坏人终有恶报，团结就是力量；身边有真正的朋友伴随左右才是最幸福的，而正真的朋友是需要时间的，这个时间让你没有一丝的伪装，真真切切，这样的朋友你才能够信，这样的朋友在你困难的时候才会帮你一把；所以，有些纠结的朋友，不要为此纠结，耐心一点，好朋友就像一壶美酒，没有经过充分的发酵，是不具有穿透力的，不会回味无穷的。

摘要：字幕翻译是视听翻译领域最常见的模式之一，其面临着这样一个坐标轴：一端是对原文本的严格直译，另一端则是本土化，即在目标文化中对文本的自由再创造。影片《马达加斯加3》的中文字幕翻译选择了坐标轴的本土化一端，在语言的归化、文化的本土化和注重观众反应三个层面上，均展现了鲜明的本土化特征，具体表现在四个方面：针砭时弊、调侃名流；文化参照本土特色；流行语使用频繁；口语特征显著。丰富的译例中所展现的本土化语言特色映证了“入乡随俗”的原则在该片的中文字幕翻译中非常适用。
